Eco-Terrorists
There are a number of radical groups opposed to the consumer society. Foremost among these is the Earth Liberation Front which the FBI considers the biggest terrorist organization in the nation. They have burned condominiums, animal research facilities, SUV dealerships and other targets including 9 fires at the ski resort of Vale. The call themselves the burning rage of a dying planet. They operate in small autonomous cells of up to 5 people and have committed over 1,000 crimes and have burned or destroyed over 100 million dollars in property. There are 150 investigations nationwide into their activities. In one act they set two bombs the second set to go off an hour after the first when police and fire department personnel would be crowding the scene. The second bomb was discovered by a security guard. Expect more from these groups as the energy crisis deepens.
